Premiering at the 2023 Beverly Hills Film Festival, Sheltered is a short film written and directed by Daniel Jamal Judson, based on his original feature screenplay.
A radicalized homeschool senior becomes obsessed with a girl at a homeless shelter. Convinced that she's in danger of being trafficked to liberal elites for a satanic ritual, he mounts a dangerous campaign to save her with tragic results.
Daniel is a filmmaker based in Asheville, NC. He has worked in commercial and entertainment production for over a decade to support his screenwriting habit. He has won several awards as a music video director and is an alum of the IFP (Gotham) Emerging Narratives Lab with a distributed indie-horror feature he co-wrote and produced. Sheltered is his narrative directoral debut.
